Bernie Simpson, president of Bernard Simpson G.C., Inc., entered the construction industry in 1972. In 1984, he moved from Maine with his family to Wellington, Florida. Bernie founded Bernard Simpson G.C., Inc. in 1987. While always working as a successful general contractor, Bernie chose to focus on shell construction for many years.

Janet Brookes has been with the company for over 20 years. She is the integral component to successful operation of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. She moved with her family to Wellington in 1981 from England.

In 2006, Bernie decided to expand his business focus to equestrian facilities, custom homes, and property management. He hired Whit Warlow to manage the equestrian and custom home division.

Whit Warlow started restoring historic houses, farm houses, and barns in Maryland in 2000. He moved to Florida in 2004 and to Wellington in 2005. Before coming to work for Bernard Simpson G.C., Inc., he was project manager of townhouse, condo, and high end home communities in Broward County. Whit is excited to be working on equestrian projects again.
